We had a wonderful stay with our newborn baby at the lodge. The spacious family suite was perfect for us, and we loved the nearby playground. We also enjoyed renting a pontoon boat for some quality family time on the water.
My children wished for more kid-friendly activities on-site.

The indoor nature center was a delightful surprise.
Despite my excitement, I found limited indoor recreational facilities. The absence of clean towels upon our arrival was frustrating. Additionally, the slow dining service dampened our experience, as we waited too long for our meals, which left us feeling neglected and irritated.

The staff provided exceptional service, particularly at the lobby and restaurant. Food offerings, especially the oysters, were delightful. However, the suite felt dark and outdated, with one bathroom needing renovations. At nearly $300 a night, the overall value seemed lacking, particularly given the room's condition.
